I only realised today it was a qualifier and not a friendly.
The 80s are back! Northern Ireland winning matches and hooliganism!
Cheers.

The 80's are definetely back for us Scots as well. We struggle to beat diddy teams such as Iceland, get humped by great teams such as Holland, our fans are having pics taken of them kissing women police officers and our "star" midfielder and team captain gets well drunk along with our other "star" keeper.
Great days............ [/img]

And England won last minute vs The Ukraine because loyal ex national team captain Beckham shot one of his trademark dream passes and made the goal possible. It looked like the audience for once was happy to see him play.
it was more of a relief than joy..a bit like when one has a pee and and you get rid of that last dribble :-]
we had forgotten how to pass the ball second half until Beckham came on for John Lennons son,Aaron.
anyways who would of funked it that Holland,Spain and England, yes,England, would still have a 100% record in qualifying?
bring on Andorra next is what i say :-]

what was the final score with Poland v San Marino?
i gave up when it got to 10-0
I think San Marino had gven up long before that. The daft buggers.
Thanks YV, I'm enjoying it while it lasts, but since everyone will beat San Marino home and away, here's the real group table:
Reckon Slovakia will run away with the group and we will only qualify or make a play-off (possibly against the Republic of Ireland!) if we win 2 out of our last 3 games. Still it's sweet to be at the top of the table ... until September anyway :)

I really hope Scotland qualify. It's priceless watching them self-destruct in the finals of competitions. Or at least it was until they stoped qualifying. C'mon Scotland! Qualify so I can fall about laughing when you get beat 3-1 by some team from a south pacific island with a population of less than a hundred.
As for Engur-land, wtf hapened to you lot? England actually looks like a professional football team, instead of a bunch of overpaid nancy boys. I predict semi-final agony once again though, probably on penalties.

yeah,i kinda miss the old days of the 70's when England never qualified and then we got to take the piss when the Jocks lost to Costa Lotta and/or Iran before Archie Gemmil or Davey Narey would score a wonder goal against the Dutch or whomever. Now its England looking like world beaters [i whisper that quietly just in case it goes tits up] and this current bunch of Ulstermen look capable of causing a sensation and qualifying for the World Cup finals too thus keeping Gerry Armstrong in employment next summer for his punditry and then we have the Jocks who next take on the Aldi & Lidls Islands after their win against Iceland looking as if they may creep into the playoffs.
its all looking mighty promising for our footie teams at the mo [unless your a sheepshagger that is]
