Has anyone picked up Ian Gillan’s new album, One Eye to Morocco? I’ve read some great reviews and heard some awesome snippets but I was wondering what other fans thought? Is it lyrically superior to his previous efforts? Thoughts?

"It was a conscious decision to avoid the use of a rock rhythm section and you will notice the complete absence of guitar and keyboard solos - we get the very best of all that from Deep Purple. So the instrumentation is perhaps more seductive than thrusting."

No Bass, no drums, no solos? ALL RIGHT!!!!!!
Hey, WK Mahler, are you catching this?
I am interested. I like him so much! He is still great though a lot of time has passed...

I'll pass. The same way I passed on Blackmore's Night.
I dunno what it is about famous people - one day they just lose their minds and start creating shite.
