As for my very own personal experience, I did all my booze binges back when it was illegal for me to drink.
I'm not saying getting wasted is fun, but when there's more excitement when you're breaking the law.

Ever since I turned 21 I haven't been drunk once.
I might have a little sip of Bailey's mix, beer, and other stuff once in a while but I haven't even felt the buzz ever since.
