Gaga got her stage name when the music producer Rob Fusari compared her vocal style to that of Freddie Mercury and took the name 'Gaga' from the Queen song, "Radio Ga-Ga".
"Queen and David Bowie were the key for me...I didn't know what to do until I discovered Bowie and Queen", Gaga says.

No offense, but American Idol is a trashy reality show with no redeeming value and the epitomy of tastelessness. So I can't take someone's review seriously who watches that show in the first place :)

None taken! LOL! I am not fond of Idol at all (I personally think its a platform for amateurs or people with sob stories)...its just that Channel Seven here in Aus stopped airing my fav drama: "The Chase" and instead put the 8th season of AI in its place..so while flipping channels I had the "honour" (rolls eyes) of seeing "Lady Whats her face" perform...And my first thought: "Christ! Who is this tart??"
