This is the recording mentioned on www.queenlive.ca with the last few tracks from an even lower gen tape.

I got it from an American guy called Joe (josedequeso on here, he shared a few recordings on dime too)but he seems to have disappeared. Really weird. If anyone has info about him, please let me know.

It's going slow, I must say. I'll go to bed a bit later on because I have a lot of work to do tomorrow but I'll restart seeding tomorrow morning. So, don't worry if the seeder has gone;-)

Thanks, on my way up!

I love "The Game" tour, so it's really a treat. I'm really curious to listen to this one.

Do you want to share some thoughts on it? What do you think about it, whether do you think it was a good performance, what are the highlights in your view.

If time allows...I love reading this kind of thing. :))) User Nummer2 used to do it regularly and I miss him, there's been some time since I don't read any message by him. Ich vermisse dich, Nummer2!!!!!!

Best Regards and THANKS!!!

Hi Yara, I'm still alive. But I had to stay away from this board for a while (I read a bit sometimes, though) because of much work, some holidays and - hmmm... - let's call it saturation. I see some nice uploads here by the way, maybe it's time to come back here more often. See you!
... I'll be back again before it's time for sunny-down ...

Thanks again, this is a joy to listen to, I'll listen to it tonight when times allows. I gave it a listen and I'd like to say that it came across to me as a very high quality audience recording - not in the sense that it's close to an original recording, but it's recorded very clear, all the instruments and voices can be very well heard and, plus, the audience is magnificent and they sing together, but their singing fits so well with the guys' that it seems a beautiful, huge harmony. It's wonderful. :)))

My most humble two cents below, I don't want to hijack the thread by no means:

Amazing version of Play The Game, really. Freddie does something I like here: first, a very simple, though distinctively beautiful in its melodic appeal piano intro - then, when things get going, he does something I really enjoy, which is avoiding oversinging or shouting even if at expense of higher notes: in Play the Game he's supposed to end the phrasing of "step" about 1/4 of the bar at a bright A4 and hold it up until the end of the bar, without going up or down (there's no rise in tone between "ep - in-side").

He used to do just that, sometimes wonderfully so, like in one of the Buenos Aires gigs, sometimes screaming or oversinging to my mind.

Here he downplays the phrasing in "step" making it sound as a long standard B flat just below the middle-C. He does it this way in most live performances to take breath to reach the A above middle-C in the end of the bar (inside), flattened in the following verse (decide...).

In this performance, he sounds squarely in tune and the verse is absolutely pleasant to listen to - he doesn't try to go for the A, which was not a pitch he was as comfortable with live as his flexible and smooth G, and goes up to E4 and let the tune fall just beautifully and naturally. Very nice.

When it comes to singing the second intro, he nails the A, even if flattening it a bit - but he sustains the note wonderfully and really nails it beautifully.

But what appealed to me all the more was, apparently, I'm not sure, but I think it is, Roger's stunning take at the high C based falsetto in "everybody play the GAME...". It's about 1:10 into the song, check it out. I think it's him and the blending of his voice with Freddie's give the verse the same feel of the original: amazing!!! Roger did it beautifully there.

By all means, do listen to this concert. I haven't listen to it in its entirety, but the sound quality is good and the performance seems to be great. Let's see. :))))

Take care you all!!!

So good to enjoy the music and listen to it. What a lovely band!

Thank you all and thanks "on my way up"!

Hi,
I'm having trouble downloading the torrent - I get

"unable to load ..... invalid torrent file"

I've tried clearing my cache, etc... could it be a problem with the file itself?

Thanks - looking forward to enjoying this great Game show!
