Never released on 12" (assume you mean the extended version), but it was released on CD on the USA release of Highlander a few years ago (The one in the metal cover). yes, the French 12'' of One Year Of Love is a figment of your imagination.
Especially if it's a monotone purple-ish sleeve.
no, the extended version never appeared on a 12'' version of this song.
yes, the extended version is a very worthy mix indeed.

both items are nice to have in any good Queen collection.
