Hi Marco,

I got a couple of questions / comments regarding this torrent :

Stockholm - which recording is it ? The second gen. source or the alternate hard2handel's master ?
Brussels - audiochecker reports my version to be lossless except God Save The Queen. Interested ?
Mannheim - I have created a compilation of best sources, it's shared here -
http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1175860/1986-06-21-mannheim-germany-2-source-compilation.aspx

Munich 28.6. - my copy has a strange spectrum, the frequency drops at cca 14 kHz, I don't think it's mp3 but definitely not CD quality. Is it the same version as shared here ?

Zurich - the same as Munich
Slane Castle - is it Bob's 2-source mix ?

Olivier shared an edited version of the radio broadcast of second night at Wembley -
http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1147078/a-day-at-the-stadium-flac.aspx

Cologne - the complete 2-source mix or the incomplete 1st gen or something else ?
Frejus - audiochecker reports it as being lossy, but I consider it lossless. What do the "experts" think ?

So thanks a lot for this share and which tour will be the next ?

An entire tour, wow!

A pity there's no recording of Zurich 1/7/86. Freddie's voice was really weak(worst Magic show for him)  the second night so I'd like to hear whether the first night was better.

Thanks for all the info - it would seem that some of the recordings are different sources from the ones I already have so I'll be downloading to take a listen! Thanks!

Hello Pittrek,

That are a lot of questions to answer. I give it a try.

Stockholm - which recording is it ? The second gen. source or the alternate hard2handel's master ?
I have really no idea. I have downloaded this one from the queenhub without any additional info.

Brussels - audiochecker reports my version to be lossless except God Save The Queen. Interested ?
Yes I'm interested in this one :) it will be an upgrade !

Munich 28.6. - my copy has a strange spectrum, the frequency drops at cca 14 kHz, I don't think it's mp3 but definitely not CD quality. Is it the same version as shared here ?
Zurich - the same as Munich
I have to check, I let you know this later.

Slane Castle - is it Bob's 2-source mix ?
I really have no idea. This one is also downloaded from the queenhub without any extra information.
When I see the creationdate of the flac file, all are from 30 september 2003.

Cologne - the complete 2-source mix or the incomplete 1st gen or something else ?
It is a complete recording, so I suspose it will be the complete 2-source mix (or something else)
If it will be the complete 2-source mix, I would expect some additional information in the original concert-folder, so I think it is something else.

I will do my "homework" better for the next concertyear. It was a first try and all questions and remarks are welcome :)

thanks for that.

greetings

Sorry.....
can only change it in the first post and will do that in a minute.
Anyway, there are more important things too hate about than writing a city-name wrong.

I'm thinking at the moment on the "terror-attack" by a stupid guy here in holland on Queensday.
5 people dead and also 12 people (seriously) wonded............Queensday is cancelled this year !!!!

really sad :(

greetings

I thought about you this afternoon while hearing that. Such a shame, and I learned a little after that this was not an accident but really some kind of terrorism act. Saw the video too... Really bad... Let's hope this won't happen again. Human nature is sometimes hard to understand...

Regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.

Right, I've been doing my impression of Sherlock Holmes and this is what I've come up with by listening to clips, comparing fingerprints with my copies and using Bob's Bible (TM)!

1986-06-07 Stockholm:
This is surely some version of the source listed as "AUD > Master > 2nd Gen Cassette > WAV > CDR (x)" - it may even be the Gypsy Eye release from the same source. Could somebody who owns either of these recordings produce some fingerprints so that we can check?

1986-06-11 Leiden:
Judging by the fact that TYMD is missing, I'd say this is the first source listed on Bob's site. Could somebody please confirm?

1986-06-12 Leiden:
This is the first source listed on Bob's site with the digital errors in NIH and LOML.

1986-08-01 Barcelona:
Judging by the fact that this doesn't sound like complete ass I'd say it's some version of the first source Bob lists. Plus I've fingerprinted some sample files and they match mine.

1986-08-09 Stevenage:
This runs a little fast, has bucketloads of treble and doesn't match my copy of "Thank You All" but still sounds pretty good so I'm going to say it's probably from "Electric Magic". The only thing that bugs me is that Bob describes that recording as "pretty distant" but this doesn't sound that way to me. Again could somebody who has this bootleg confirm?

Hope this helps somewhat!

The Rapidshare-links are changed right now.
You can find the original all concerts in one archive here:
http://rapidshare.com/files/228037564/1986_Magic_Tour_Mega_Rapidshare.txt

The rapidshare links are sorted out now concert by concert.
Hopefully this one is more easy to use than the big archive.

greetings

One little correction (as far as I know):
"Olivier shared an edited version of the radio broadcast of second night at Wembley -
http://www.queenzone.com/forums/1147078/a-day-at-the-stadium-flac.aspx"
The bootleg A Day At The Stadium contains a recording from the first Wembley night.
This one is shared in this share.

Maybe I'm wrong, please let me know.

greetings
