Great sound for a video! My camera (panasonic nv-gs27) has great sound too, but this is definately better.

Pitty the video is a bit shakey... My advice (no offence!) : Next time you film, trie to smuggle in a mini tripod / monopod...Works fab for stabilizing your shot.

Not downloading, but thanks for sharing anyway!

I did manage to bring in a mini tripod, set it up pointing at the stage before the show. Then a nice person from security came over and told me to put away the camera or leave. It is pretty awkward to try and film from then on
with security looking at you every 5 min. I was caught again during Ga Ga by a different member of security and almost ejected.

I still managed to get 2/3 of the concert on video, by holding the camera freehand over a 100 feet away from the stage, and trying to use the zoom function with my 1 spare finger. I suppose you would have to have been in my seat that night, to see the conditions I filmed under. Maybe then you appreciate the video for what it is.

I'm glad i havent shared these 2 video's in full to be honest, and probably never will. The announce thread would have the usual response from people, 3 people saying thanks, 10 people pointing out how you could have done it better, and the usual 1 or 2 giving out about download speeds.

Rant over, peace out.

Your recording sounds great Mark! I already have it before you shared it here and also compared with Inu's version sounds very very good!

I'm glad you liked my artwork ;-)

Cheers!

Like I said: no offence. I don't want to play a smart guy or whatever, I'm just a fellow videotaper and always like it when people push it and try to shoot the best possible video. Nice to hear you brought a mini tripod with you!
I didn't knew the conditions under wich you shot this movie. I know it can be difficult to keep on shooting after a security guy tells you to stop (experienced that at the QPR gig in Dortmund 2005). Not pleasant.

Given the circumstances, I think you did a great job. I completely understand and don't blame you for not sharing the complete video. I haven't shared my videos either. One of the reasons being the usual response people give (like you mention.)

Take care,
D

Ah dont worry about it Ducksoup, I know your points were constructive, valid and fair.
It's just the reality is often not so clear, and i know you've been there too.

Hopefully I can film Queen without so much distraction the next time, with Rodgers gone now it's back to the main event for 2010.

Good to see we understand eachother!

Here's hoping too (shooting with a HD cam with external mic and monopod is on my wish list) It should be possible someday one day :-)
