Favourite part of a Queen (& solo) concert of all time.

Here is mine.  White Queen live, Christmas 1975.  The intrumental section that starts on 3.00 and ends around 4.20.  Total Queen. The rest of the song is fucking awesome as well, but this 1.20 seconds is something special!!

Any time i'm asked about my favourite show , Birmingham 1984 always springs to mind. It was just a sensational show from start to finish. I loved the build up

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought that Christmas 75 concert was live at the Hammersmith, not the Rainbow.

Any time they played White Man/Prophet Song.

They were so good at putting that spacy middle section in their concerts.

No, you're 100% correct. I just didn't word it properly. I meant to say that I have the Rainbow gig and they play a similar version of White Queen as to the one mentioned here. :)

we always looked forward to that moment,not because we liked it but because thats when Keith would go and get the beers in for us from the beer tent coz he knew he wouldnt miss anything for the next 10 minutes :-]

The piano-transition (or what the word is) between

Get Down, Make Love and The Millionaire Waltz

from Live in [b]Houston 6/6-1977[/b]. GREAT!

I admit the '74 Rainbow Version of White Queen takes my breath away every time I hear it. I wish this version had been on the album, as I regret to admit I skipped over this song by lifting up the needle on my turn table, as  kid.
The piano and guitar play between Brian and Freddie on that version is just...goosebump producing. I don't enjoy the '75 version nearly as much. Doesn't seem to have the intensity level as the Rainbow version, for me, anyhow.

Will 'Live in Rio' ever be released in a remastered format?? I managed to pick up a copy in France on DVD but the quality is pretty crap....just like the video.  Rock in Rio Blues...........
