...... The Cosmos Rocks was a disaster.
The Fans hated it and avoided it. It was not the band´s finest moment !!

Yeah, I never avoided the album either. In fact, I embraced it with open arms. It was a wonderful collaboration!

When they say the fans hated it, did they only speak to a certain limited circle including fairydandy, action, and ken8 for instance? :-P

I think you're right
a handful of people on qol try and make it sound like no one cares.

Yes I thought it was a good album and it gave people the chance to see Queen perform live again. Thanks Paul, Brian & Roger.

Indeed. "Make it sound" is kind of an understatement there, my friend.
In any case, GO figure that some of them at the same time HAVE admitted going to the shows whilst bashing the project at the same time.
I don't give a fuck what method of justification fairydandy can use to excuse himself, he is one fucking hell of a self-contradictionalist. I find it incredibly ridiculous that he has the galls to say he would "NEVER" spend a pence on any Q+PR product, yet he's been to see three shows I believe which, last I checked, is STILL a way of spending more than a pence on a 'product' - he's probably paid enough money equivalent to owning several copies of all the Q+PR CD's and DVD's out there.
And yet, when you point all that out to him, he will honestly tell you to "fuck off" and that he does not have to explain himself.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH, it's people like him that make my blood boil. Seriously.
I have to admit though, if you look at him beyond his anti-QPR issues, he DOES seem to be way more sane than Jake Britt here, however.

I really like The Cosmos Rocks, it´s far beyond any rock group nowadays...and it´s also about ROCK, not pop, not metal, not punk...now there is a problem, in what way QUEEN is going to keep touring promoting their legacy?

indeed. he gets on my nerves. you cannot take him seriously as he contradicts himself to great extent. he claims he doesn't like QPR and will never spend money on products, and yet he pays alot of money to see them live.
and when you point it out - all of a sudden, his best argument is "fuck off". and when you present valid arguments he sticks his head in the sand and ignores it.
a classic case of someone who shouts so loud that you cannot fail to notice him

are you for real????????
"far beyond any rock group nowadays"???????? what shit have you got in your ears....?
try listening to the killers, kings of leon, u2, hard-fi, elbow, nickelback....
take your blinkers off and get the cotton wool out of your ears.....Brian and Rog just trying to do what they have always done (only with a new singer) is not "far beyond"...it's not even up to scratch compared to bands i mentioned....
it only sold 400k copies, because it wasn't very good....if the opinions of those that bought it had been overwhelmingly that it was "far beyond" then it woulda been a slow-burner and eventually have sold the numbers
and don't say it doesn't happen...ANATO, Bat out of Hell, Rumours and many many classic albums were slow burners....Cosmos Sucks was C-list C-lebrity rubbish

I don't think you're in any position to lecture anyone on taste in music after listing that load of old bollocks.

I embraced it with open arms as well. And it strangled me. It will be remembered as a small spot in a brilliant career, I hope.
