that,s a shame.i liked them.
What did you expect? Three decades of intensive collaboration?
They'll probably try again with another singer in a few years, and it'll be another fresh take on Queen classics, and maybe another new album. But that's it, really. Let's not forget that the Queen guys aren't exactly young anymore, and touring wears you down.

Just a shame that there has been no official announcement form the Queen camp. Maybe they're just taking a break and will do something next year.
I'd like a new album, but to be honest I'm more excited about Roger's new album and the possibility of a solo tour, although an album with just Brian & Roger would be even better!

I wouldn't be too excited about Roger's new album... I suspect it's a couple of tracks to tag on to a reissue of his old stuff released as a compilation
He did say a few years ago he would do no more solo albums...maybe he intends to do something WITH Brian...now that WOULD be exciting!

From Classic Rock site:
"Rodgers has yet to make a formal announcement regarding his long-term plans, although his publicist is playing the rumour down, saying that QP+R are just not touring right now."

New Roger album? I've not heard of this...
Isn't it time to start moaning about the boxsets again? :-)

That quote is from before the latest news, probably because they weren't sure at the time. But the Queen + PR is over.
Who will they dig up next?
My money is on David Essex. Maybe a collaboration with Yanni to produce a film soundtrack.
My money's on the dude from High School Musical.

I'd love to hear this too, but do you think they still could match anything worthy of past Queen material? Have they musically evolved over last 17-18 years to come up with anything the unbiased public would like to hear? They are still 2 very talented and experienced musicians after all. Honest question btw.
