The band, or the continent?
I mean yeah, "the final countdown" has taken it's toll on society, but surely you can't blame them for everything that's wrong in the world.

At the moment, I feel like I'm living in a minor key. My father recently had a heart attack and will be getting triple bypass surgery on Monday. So, the household is quite depressing. In addition, I'm longing for companionship -- and I'm afraid my heart is leading me toward my ex-girlfriend again. My head is telling me this is a mistake -- since we've broken up three times already. It would be splendid if I could escape from all this misery and confusion and modulate into a major key!

Somehow I'm only able to get on my bike standing on the left side of it.
Speaking of bikes, I once rode it having my hands crossed. Not recommendable.

I had a painting shown on the kids TV show "Take Hart" way back in 1981.
I can bend my thumbs back to an angle of 45 degrees.
I once killed an old lady while trying to help her.
I have an irrational fear of jam.
I know all the words to the Um Bongo song and can sing it in one breath.
fatty.

Hi, Steven!
I'm really sorry. You're an user whose posts I've been reading with a lot of interest and you seem to be a very nice person. I hope everything goes well with your dear father and that the surgery be very successful. I really do!
I lost my father not so long ago, and it was such a blow for me - I always thought it was not supposed to happened in my age, and it happened so suddenly. But my father didn't stand a chance, there wasn't even time for surgery.
Well, I just hope it all turns out to be just fine with you and your father.
And I won't say a thing about the girlfriend because she might be reading this. If you guys get together again, just tell her that I always told you that she was wonderful. ;-))) Let me know when there's NO chance of you guys being together anymore: then I'll say the hell about her!!!!
Everything is gonna be just fine. There's hope. And you're a young, thoughtful and responsible lad. It may take time, but everything will turn out to be just fine, you'll see.
Take care, Steven. I wish you the very best. The best of the best.

Yara,
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all your kind words. I have always read your posts with great interest as well. I haven't been on Queenzone in quite a while, and it was only recently that I came back. I suppose I came back so that I could revisit my earlier years; so much has changed (in my life, Queenzone remains corrupted it would appear) in the months I haven't been here. That being said...
I am deeply saddened to hear about your loss. However, I'm sure your father is still with you in spirit. Thank you for your wishes in regard to my father. It is greatly appreciated and heartwarming to know that somebody I've never met before would actually set aside her time in order to give me words of kindness and encouragement. I once said that it's naive to assume you know and understand an individual when your judgement is primarily based on textual evidence -- but, in this case, I must say that I'm confident that you are indeed a wonderful person. Please continue being one of Queenzone's sweethearts!
Best wishes,
Steven
