Well the song was written by Brian so I guess it's possible.

It never occurred to me it could be Brian singing that line - always sounded like Freddie to me.
For a long time I was confused though as to who sang the main part of Sheer Heart Attack - Freddie or Roger.

I do think some of Freddie's (and possibly Paul's) vocals resemble Roger or Brian's, but it always sounds like Freddie sounding like them - not them actually singing. Most likely because he's singing along to or basing his vocal on the guide vocal or some other coaching from the songwriter.
