Is that Brian singing the line "She was my lover" ?  It kind of sounds like him a bit.

I always thought he did sing that part, but it's still unlikely. Maybe Freddie was doing a nod to the composer and that's it.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Not to be rude or anything, but have you ever heard how Brian sings?
It doesn't sound like him at all. ;-).

Definitely Freddie.

It does sound a little bit like Brian however it's almost certainly Freddie.

I also thought it was Brian.

But I'm not sure.

Well the song was written by Brian so I guess it's possible.

I'm curious on what more people think.

Brian wrote the song, but sings surely Freddie.

It never occurred to me it could be Brian singing that line - always sounded like Freddie to me.

For a long time I was confused though as to who sang the main part of Sheer Heart Attack - Freddie or  Roger.

Yay!  I love it when this topic comes up!

I do think some of Freddie's (and possibly Paul's) vocals resemble Roger or Brian's, but it always sounds like Freddie sounding like them - not them actually singing.  Most likely because he's singing along to or basing his vocal on the guide vocal or some other coaching from the songwriter.
