and im thinking about little addition: Buenos Aires 8 march AUD(kindly shared by Bob 2 years ago) recording with patches from SBD(same source as in this share)... This is my new compilation with small patches from SBD ONLY IN JAILH ROCK, SAVE ME,N I H ,and DRAGON ATTACK.
BUT i have question ::: I took Aud source for this compilation from my CD i burned about 2 years ago ,is it ok,or this action added generation to original files?
and would be better to create new compilation with files taken directly from internet?

He asked if a WAV > CD > WAV conversion adds a new generation.
The answer is no, WAV is a lossless format, so converting it into some other [b]lossless[/b] format (like CDDA) doesn't affect the "audio information".

Of course, the original WAV is better than a CDR generation, in terms of the lineage. But like CMI says, if it's a clean extraction from a clean burn, then you're home free. The only complaints will come from the most tedious of purists.

I have one small question regarding the following concert, I haven't downloaded this torrent yet and I surely will, but your answer may clarify things for other downloaders as well so here it goes:
07) 1981-03-01; Buenos Aires
Ripped by myself from the Snowproducciones double DVD (On the first
disc the 01-03-1981 concert; on the second disc the three Bueonos Aires
concerts from 1981. I have ripped this one from the audio disc (stereo
channel) with DVD Audio Extractor directly to Flac level 8.
Was the audio on the DVD you ripped this concert from lossless, as in a PCM track?

Just bring it only as torrent, there is no direct need to upload first to rapidshare or other hosting providers.
Later somebody will bring it to rapidshare for who can't use torrents.

As you can see in an earlier post, where I did have post the audiochecker-log from this concert, that 70% of the files is lossless and 30% is marked as lossy.
If somebody has a better recording (100% lossless) or a better quality version of this concert, please think of sharing it here.
The DVD which I did rip was an Audio-DVD. On this Audio-DVD you can find the three Argentina concerts in stereo, as well in 5.1 dolby surround (created by Snowproducciones). I have ripped the stereo one which sounds more clear than the 5.1 mix.
