Queenonline forum. How the hell do you get an account?

Argh. Getting so frustrated with the Queenonline forum.
Register - they send you an email. You're all ready to go, but the forum admin needs to activate you.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Waiting.
3 weeks later, I sent another request for activation.
Waiting.
Waiting.
Another request.
Read the FAQ. If there are problems, contact the admin. Ok, click on Admin at the bottom of the page. Nope, you need to be logged in to talk to the admin.
What kind of crazy system doesn't let you ask the admin to activate your account unless you already have an active account?

Is it busted? Is it me? If anyone can offer sane advice, it will be appreciated.

They didn't want you to have an account because they knew you would complain :)

Interesting - a long time ago I attempted to register to use the forum and had exactly the same experience.  In the end I tried registering a range of different email addresses all with the same result.  It looks like some kind of closed shop - if anyone else has any ideas on how to overcome the problem I'd love to know.  That said after reading god knows how my fd negative threads on queenonline I feel much safer here on QZ.

No thank you really really not my thing at all.  I'd never be that much in need to add content to a thread to go that low.  Each to their own if you know what I mean.
