on the news last night here in the UK the reporter/announcer kept saying she was 87 years old.Now,I wasnt all that brilliant at maths but even I know that this could not be right if the boat sank in 1912...

and people wonder why the economy has gone tits up

There's a reason for that, she would declare her age as 87 so that she'd qualify for the 80-89 division at her local Bingo club.
