Tijn, you forgot Shocking Blue with the worldwide hit "Venus".

Plus, George Baker's 'Little Green Bag' is worth a mention as well. The bass line alone is sheer brilliance to say the least.

I like better the bananarama's version better.

But you know what??? I think "Twilight Zone" by 2Unlimited is well known worldwide...
