The band might be good, but they need a singer.

I like elton, but he can't sing Queen. Can you imagine him trying to sing somebody to love?....

Not a good idea really. Queen music needs a front man with some energy. Elton is not a front man and doesn´t really excude energy in his performance. I suppose George Michael or Robbie Williams - both their careers need a shot in the arm. But frankly I don´t fancy seeing them again - saw them 3 times with Fred and then the qpr second tour - which was ok but it´s time to let them go I think.

Fair Points but an orchestra with Queen on a tour would be good a proper version of WWTLF and things like WATC would sound great.

Elton is still a phenomenal performer.
But he simply doesn't have the vocal range to pull off most of what's in the Queen catalogue.
Catch him if you can... he still puts on an amazing show, and is still putting out relevant, quality records.

Only if they do all of Elton's Disney songs.

Then I guess you'll miss out, as he still opens with Funeral For A Friend and Love Lies Bleeding.
Yeah, come to think of it, I wonder how much Davey Johnstone and Nigel Olsson enjoy playing the Disney tunes...

Elton's vocal range disney come close to singing Queen songs.
What about Britney? She could mime her way through the concerts.
Queen + Britney.
The only drawback being, just like we did with that Rodgers flange, we would have to let her "sing" a few of her own songs. However, the singalong to If you seek Amy, would be good.
