why was.it.s late not a bigger hit.
it.s late was far better than bo rap.more gutsy.more a classic rock song.
it was a slow burner and had more thump than many queen songs.
it slowly built up to a massive ending that would have been a concert classic.
it showed off brian and freds skills(freds vocals were superb and brians guitar was perfect)rodgers drumming was good,johns base was fantastic.
the most underrated queen song ever.
such a shame we only have a small snippet of the live version(berlin i think).and the video of the slutty girl in stockings(but i liked that lol).
so when the next pole comes up lets vote for.
it,s late as the best queen song.
when i die.which will be in the next 10years lol(to many malts to many ciggys).i want that for my funeral song when the box drops.lol lol lol.

i think i agree with you on this one... amazing song!

it's late is a great song, no question about that.  Better than bo rhap?...or the best queen song ever?...that's Just your opinion. It's late is no where near bo rhap in originality, and it's not even my favorite on that album.

I think the reason of underrating It'sLate iìs that is too much similar to LedZeps song (i.e. Whole lotta love, if you listen the middle section and the riff ongoing of the two tracks). You may know that Queen were called "sons" of Zeps at the time and this lack of originality would have not done good advertising for the Band...

...Naturally this thought melt down with C-lebrity, where is clear the inspiration with Zeps "Wanton song"...
