Hello everybody,

I have had the following articles for a few years now and I would like to know how rare they are and how much would someone pay for them. I have a rough idea, as I have asked before (even to Jacky at the QFC) but I wanted to get an update and collect your thoughts as well.

* MADE IN HEAVEN CD: Including Original version of Let Me Live. Front and back sleeves are identical to regular edition. The writings on the disc itself are a bit different.

* CHARLAS DE FONDO / Llamando a todas las chicas (Back Chat/Calling All Girls): 12" with Spanish titles. Catalog # 8713Z. Different B side.

* Greatest Hits LP: I have two versions. One is a bit translucent with a slight red-ish glow when I put it against a lightbulb. The other one is opaque. They have both the same number on the front cover: 33CC 062 78041 but the numbers handwritten/carved on the vinyl are different:

One has: SLEM 1040-1    11-I-82    JE
(red glow)

The other one has: SLEM 1040-2    28-XII-81    JE
(no glow, standard opaque vinyl)

Any comments or estimates will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Damn! It's quiet over here.

I should have posted this in the General or Serious forum, however unrelated.

Shameless bump :)

Do not buy these.

You'll contract swine (pig) flu.

Queen sounded horrible when they sung their songs in Spanish.  I'd pass.

Wiley, sorry for being off-topic, but are Queen popular in Mexico?

Any chart position or sales numbers?

Sorry for the delay, hadn't seen this in a while.

Queen are very popular in Mexico. Most people know them, at least for the hits, but usually a bit more than that, specially with people who were teens or young adults back in 1981, who like music and buy or used to buy records. My dad is not a fan by any means but he was in the Monterrey show in '81 and he loved it.

I'm 28 and I remember being in college a few years ago and many people knew who Queen or Freddie were. When they knew I was a fan they often said Queen were great and that they respected them a lot. Some made fun and joked about Freddie's sexuality but actually put a very serious face right afterwards and said "... but they were great".

A friend of mine is a metal head and he says that Queen's best song (by far) is "The Show Must go on".

I have come across people who don't listen to rock music at all but know Queen and like at least one of their songs.

There's a lot of love for Queen here in Mexico! :D
