Well, I appreciated you shared those Brian May recordings too !!! So fair is fair, everybody happy !!
I just would be happier if someone could reupload them also on rapidshare or mediafire, as I can't use torrents, as some of us.
Next Tarantura release will be uploaded as soon as located, but I'm afraid we could wait a little longer ! They are maybe not in a hurry to release more Queen bootlegs....

regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.

The good news keeps coming, people!

On dime lots of great recordings(uncirculated) from the seventies(from Providence/Boston area) will be shared and Queen is one of the bands that was recorded. Someone who has heard one of the recordings says this tape sets the standard for Queen audience recordings of that time!

So check out dimeadozen the following weeks/months and be surprised!!!!

Cheers!

I'm just listening to it right now. A glass of white wine with the luxury name "TESCO wine" in my hand and speakers at full volume, that's how music art should be listened to :)

Holy shit, is this the best audience recording ever ? Mr. Peach had to stand very close to the stage, just like in 1975. The performance is simply amazing. Or is it because the sound quality is so clean and clear ? I never realised how amazing "Rock It" is, it really rocks ! Or how amazing the multiple voices singing LOML can sound. Powerfull and beautiful at the same time.

I got a question regarding the packaging. How did it look like ?
I got a feeling that it came originally packed like the "mini-vinyls", or how exactly did it look like ?

Olivier - not only I'd like to thank you for this another gem, I must also thank you for the link. I didn't know that Tarantura is such an old and famous bootleg label.

Amazing news, while Queen Production seem to not give a shit about their potential customers it's great that many "criminals" love their "property" and instead of hoarding them for more years, they "release" them.

I can't believe my ears...it's a dream come true: a full, lossless concert from the Game Tour in pretty much the same quality as the Sun City gig that was shared recently. It sounds absolutely superb and incredible. I feel like I'm on stage!

Thanks so much, Olivier! This is magnificent.

The sound of Deacon's bass at the beginning of Let Me Entertain You sounds like a hammer crashing the ground, building up the perfect degree of tension and expectation for the song to start.

It's trully amazing. Roger's drumming is the highlight, in my humble opinion. The way he controls the timing of the songs and frames them is really great. One can notice how much Queen's sound depended, to a brutal extent, on a steady tension-release model and, therefore, on a very clever and skillful way of dealing with beats, timing and rhythmic patterns in general. Because these elements are handled with great flair by the band, they could sound just fine or pull off a good performance even when Brian or Freddie were not particularly inspired. Thankfully, it's not the case here: both Brian and Freddie pull off a good one. ;-))

Queen's "Kitchen" - Roger + John - has really been the joy of this concert to me. The way it's recorded, one gets to listen to John's bass very clearly and the overall listening experience gets much more pleasant.

And again, without the live background, for which the studio version sounds only as a sketch, a song such as Dragon Attack doesn't make sense - or it does, but its potential is largely diminished.

Listening to its live version in this quality reveals the song behind its careful and, understandably, all too balanced studio façade. The song happens!

Thanks a million, Olivier, and thanks, Mr. Peach! The recording sounds just amazing.

Totally agree with Yara, I was pleased to hear more clearly than on other audience recordings John's bass and Roger's drums, on this recording you can hear the full rythmic section nearly as if it was coming from the soundboard, I mean as clear as the "lead and loud" (Freddie and Brian). A great way to attest that indeed, Queen were four real musicians, and that John contributed a lot to Queen's music, despite being "only the bassist". Roger is well heard on this recording too, and he is just really good at what he does !!
So, is it only the quality of the recording that makes us think that the performance was good... ? That show was really nice, the sound is really nice.
Thanks again to Bob and Masahiko for your very needed help about that one !!

Regards,

Olivier,
Belgium.
