i feel like James Stewart, just gazing out the window with a pair of binoculars and my leg in the air...

    See anything interesting??

I imagine your waiting for Grace Kelly and Stella to show up soon....
i think ive got a long wait for that..
anything interesting? mmm,ive had painter and decorators cleaning all the green algae and moss off the outside of the house all day except that they forgot to tell ME that they were going to be doing this so while everyone else was able to evacuate the building while hose pipes and chemicals were being sprayed I was stuck inside going radioactive and getting polluted by the stuff.
however i had the last laugh when one of the Aussie's [yes they were colonials and probably ex-cons] decided to lean his ladder against my front window and not the wall [thats how i guessed they were thick as shit aussies] and climb up just as i decided to open my window, unluckily for him he only fell 6ft and not to his death!
Ha ha!  One of those things that is not at all funny when it happens, but will be a great story for years to come!  Why, why, why would one lean a ladder against a window of a house with someone in it?

Alice Cooper is on tour???  Wow, I would so love to see him, he's like a bit living history, so influential.

Yep he's on tour! When I first read that, I was like, "HOLY SHIT. MUST BUY A STANDING TICKET." .. and well, here I am, booked to see him. I just couldn't miss out on such a great performer. Look at him! I love his music and his dress style. :D He inspires me sometimes to do my makeup. :P

failed the state test again, and have no choice but to be done with it.i havent the money nor the energy to do it anymore.

i dont handle failure well. it doesnt help that anything you want to do is completely out of reach. i wish i wasnt such an intangible dreamer.

Lady Nxy, that must be so disappointing.  Maybe if you have a break for a while you might be able to go back to it?  There are so many options for adult education now, hopefully it'll work out.

Joxer, hope the hospital isn't too bad.  Maybe you can share a ward with the guy you knocked off the ladder?!  I know someone who used to get people to bring him in Chinese takeaways and fish and chips when he was in hospital.  Practice making patient and 'i'm in mortal agony, but don't mind me' faces in the mirror and you might be able to get some extra TLC from your neighbours.

I'm after having such a nice day, went to the beach this afternoon, it was so warm.  I was helping someone with their children, but it was still nice to hang out there.  And to be warm after teh weather the last while.

i cant express how dissapointing it is. dissapointing is an understatement.

it was a state test to become an insurance agent. not somethign i wanted to do, but it was a job. i feel stupid that ive wasted my time with it, but when youre desparate, putting money towards a job seems like an investment. and i just cant afford (literally) to keep doing it.

ill be done with university at the end of the year. id like to think thats somethign to look forward to, if it werent for hte fact that i have to scramble for a damn job the second im done. all the jobs i want/need are completely out of my reach.

Horrible.  I don't think I'll ever forget the sickening feeling of failing my driving test, and that wasn't affecting my job or anything, it's gutting for something like that not to work out.  Sometimes you can hit lucky with looking for jobs though, there can be a vacancy at the right place at the right time.  So hopefully.  And hopefully by next year there'll be more jobs available.  The redundancies and places closing has to stop sooner or later.  (One hopes!)
