Then take me disappearin' through the smoke rings of my mind,
Down the foggy ruins of time, far past the frozen leaves,
The haunted, frightened trees, out to the windy beach,
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow.
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky with one hand waving free,
Silhouetted by the sea, circled by the circus sands,
With all memory and fate driven deep beneath the waves,
Let me forget about today until tomorrow.
i really hope to hear some good news from somewhere this week.
The Beatles Anthology Part 1 was shown between 9 - 11 p.m. on VH1 earlier this evening in the USA. A very interesting program. Part 2 will be shown next week.
You got a lotta nerve
To say you are my friend
When I was down
You just stood there grinning
You got a lotta nerve
To say you got a helping hand to lend
You just want to be on
The side that's winning
Do you take me for such a fool
To think I'd make contact
With the one who tries to hide
What he don't know to begin with
When you know as well as me
You'd rather see me paralyzed
Why don't you just come out once
And scream it
Yes, I wish that for just one time
You could stand inside my shoes
You'd know what a drag it is
To see you

It's Dylan's "Positively 4th Street". Wonderful song!

Correct! Bob Dylan's lyrics. He's such a great poet. <3
Wow, I'm sick of doubt
Live in the light of certain
South
Cruel bindings.
The servants have the power
Dog-men and their mean women
Pulling poor blankets over
Our sailors
I'm sick of dour faces
Staring at me from the TV
Tower, I want roses in
My garden bower; dig?
Royal babies, rubies
Must now replace aborted
Strangers in the mud
These mutants, blood-meal
For the plant that's plowed.
They are waiting to take us into
The severed garden
Do you know how pale and wanton thrillful
Comes death on a strange hour
Unannounced, unplanned for
Like a scaring over-friendly guest you've
Brought to bed
Death makes angels of us all
And gives us wings
Where we had shoulders
Smooth as ravens claws
No more money, no more fancy dress
This other kingdom seems by far the best
Until its other jaw reveals incest
And loose obedience to a vegetable law.
I will not go.
Prefer a feast of friends.
To the giant family.

Did you ever see the book Hard Rain by Mark Edwards and Lloyd Timberlake? It takes teh Hard Rain lyrics and has photos to go with it. Its really nice, but very sad.
I have had such an incredibly stressful two days. It is actually a little unreal. I have one more and then it might get a bit better, but this might stretch out for a few weeks either. Like i can feel that all along my shoulders is really hard and knotty and its only because of stress. the one good thing is though that i went to the gym yesterday really frustrated and i beat - I mean i SHATTERED - my targets!
