Does anyone else think that a lot of the time in The Fairy Feller's Master Stroke it sounds like there is a kid singing along with Freddie? He also comes on to lead vocals for a while. Anyone know anything?

oh... the fairy fellers mater stroke, what a great song! one of a kind! I think that theres no other song in the whole world like it... its so unique... youve never heard anything like it, no, never in your life, like going up to heaven and then coming back alive... i enjoy this song so much, you never get bored of it, because all of the little details of it, like the amazing "child" voice of freddie that the topic is about... for me, the whole black side of queen II is one big Song, I cant pick one as the best... I hope that someday they release the whole queen II album on DTS 5.1 remastered like ANATO, it will be a dream come true for me...

uff... nao that I said all that, I can rest in peace... :-)

This truly is a fucking amazing song. On the occasions that I listen to it, it never fails to cheer me up.  I did once get pulled over by the cops for speeding down the motorway to this song at 2am! I tend to listen to something slower nowadays to preserve my licence!

This song is so freak and unique. It's really great. Only Freddie could write this.
A man who learnt how to teach, but forgot how to learn. A la grande le puse cuca!!

I was going to paste a link to the painting that inspired the song, but for some reason cannot.  Do a google search for Richard Dadd - Fairy Fella if interested.

As a matter of fact, I love the whole "B-side" of Queen II...

There's a real theatrical play that develops until the conclusion wil SSOR

the whole concept album kind and stuff...

One of John's best bass work.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."

I'm just shocked that the original poster of this topic has 'Rodge' in his user name with the other Queen 'nicknames'.  I really hope you'd not rather have Paul Rodgers in Queen with the other three guys, as opposed to Roger Taylor (or 'Rog') as he is often known?!!!!

I have owned this print for several years now. It is an amazing piece of art. Like the song, theres so much going on in it. You can find something different in it everytime you look at it. I usually get  questions asked about it in my gallery everytime a customer walks in.
