just a simple question, which of those two has the better sound quality, VHS or VCD ?
Buy the reissiued Josef Stalin album - Big Boobs, which influenced Queen to release Hot Space - Out Now - with the new previously unreleased track: Gulag For Everyone

Assuming it's the exact same material on both... VHS.

VCD is digitally compressed to be much worse quality.

VHS is still regarded as one of the best media for audio storage.
Lots of radio stations keep their archives on VHS tapes.

I've kept my Betamax around for this exact reason.  And Beta tape is slightly wider than VHS, so I've got that going for me... which is nice.
