hi everybody,
i am new to the forum but i have been a queen fan since 1974,anyway i have a question regarding dvd's.
i recently downloaded my first dvd and i havn't got a clue how to burn it.
i have nero and i also have convertxto dvd, both of which are simple drag and drop applications but i am unfamiliar with dvd files.
my download contains bup files, ifo files and vob files, can anybody help?
also which is the best programme for burning flac to dvd?
thanx in advance,
kev.

FLAC to CD... there are two ways:
a) download FLAC Frontend, and convert the FLAC files to WAV
b) download the FLAC plugin for Nero
As for the DVD files, just drag and drop the entire VIDEO_TS file into Nero and you should be flying.
Good luck!

For DVDs the best burning application in Windows is definitely ImgBurn, but it isn't as user-friendly as Nero.
For AudioCDs as SirGH wrote, the fastest way is to download a flac plugin for Nero, e.g.

On a similar subject of DVD burning, I have recently downloaded a couple of DVD's from various sites (one from queenzone), when I came to burn to disc using ConvertXtoDVD (my current method) I get the picture compressed into a 1 inch wide image down the centre of the screen. Other DVD downloads have been OK.I can view it OK in some players but the same thing happens in others. I would be very grateful for any advice (I'm not a computer genius!!!). Many thanks.

Oh my god, why do you convert the DVDs ? Are you trying to create DivX files from it ?
