The one time I visited Amsterdam my mate got mugged by two Africans with butcher knives. This was in broad daylight. I saw people at outdoor restaurants get food stolen off their plates by tramps with holes in their arms. Not a pleasant experience.

Weird, never heard about these things happening in New York, L.A, London, Istanbul, Berlin, Paris etc etc
Anyway, i'm in Amsterdam often and i have never seen these things happen. I would count em as incidents more than a trend. If you believe the crap in that shitty Megalo-Reilly  show than you're equally disturbed.
