Have you heard Watts play any jazz stuff? Obviously not. He was a jazz drummer before he ever joined the Stones.

John Bonham, Cozy Powell, Lars Ulrich (though St. Anger is embarrassing), Keith Moon, Rick Allen
St. Anger is actually not that bad. Just hte production, Lars' drums and no solos make it a poor album. It has some listenable songs though! Some Kind Of Monster and Frantic are great. I alos like Shoot Me Again.
The most interesting drummer I've heard is Neil Peart of Rush. First drummer to make me realise that druming is actually an art form.
Cozy Powell! I was listening to an old playlist yesterday and heard a fantastic drummer I had forgotton about, but can't remember who or what song or anything now. Was really good though. :)
Jeff Porcaro.

Mike Mangini. He's not a drummer, he's just too amazingly great to be 'just' a drummer.
