In a cover band you'd be right.  But if you want to do a tribute, the visual is just as important.  A tribute puts on a complete show, emulating everything.  Good luck.

Did you miss the part about "i also can do backing vocals and sing behind the drums..." ?
He wasn't saying directly he'd be a lead vocalist. Who's ever heard of a Queen tribute act whose main singer is 'Roger'? (Unless we're talking about the 2001-2004 pre-PR days, fake drumtracks and all :-P )

C'mon, dude.  Don't you recognize a perfectly good band joke?

Ok, here's another.

How many lead singers does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
One.  He holds the bulb up and the world revolves around him until it's in.

I probably should, considering I am a drummer (as well as a backing vocalist occasionally, ironically enough), but no offense you've been building up a reputation for being a complete ass as of lately, which you've brought on yourself mate :-P

By the way, what brand are those drums??
M
songs that were sang by the drummer:

Sister Christian
Su Su Sudio
Beth

Coincidence that these three are in the Top 10 Excrutiating Tunes Of All Time?

if u want to have a cover band... and a sound like Brian may's guitar, you have to buy a digitech brian may sgnature pedal, and at least a Guild red special!! but have other ways to get a sound like Brians sound... but it is more easy!
