I think disc 1 has pretty decent quality considering it's a recording that's 34 years old.
Instruments are all clearly heard. Maybe a bit bass heavy. But not a bad recording at all...

Haven't listened to disc 2 yet...

It's indeed very hissy on disc 1 but disc 2 is also less clear and even more hissy:-)

Yes, this is a nice example how can a recording like Boston 76 raise your quality standards :) Before listening to that one I would rate this recording as "VG+"
