Why in the world is "I Want It All" in the newest greatest hits compilation. What a boring song? Was it even a hit?

I Want IT All is one of their best songs! Probably the best on The Jiracle beside WIAWI. What a stupid prick you are.

Why don't you make a more interesting song then. According to Greatest Hits II, IWIA peaked at #3 in the UK, but reached #1 all over Europe. Apparently, it was even used as a rallying song for black African youths. I suppose it has some merit for being on the Ultimate Greatest compilation. Naturally, peaking at #50 in the US, some people might have missed the impact of it entirely...

Because it's

1) one of their greatest hits
2) one of their best songs from the 80's
3) one of the most popular songs in Europe from the 80's

Enough ?

Because it was a top 3 hit in the UK in 1989, a top 10 hit in almost around the world... appears in commercials, and and a lot of people likes the song...that's why it is a Greatest hits...what a question made by the first who posted here!...some times we have to read such things...

Yes, it turns out it was a hit. I didn't know it myself but a recent thread created by user "Rhyeking" helped me find out in an amusing way what were Queen's biggest hits.

And, well, if it was a hit, as it was, and it has the virtue of representing an album which is not very well known, then I think it was a very good choice. It's a catchy interesting song, though by no means my cup of tea. But I have to admit that it's a well-crafted song, even though I don't like it that much myself.

One of the things I discovered in that thread is that Love Of My Life, one of my top favorites, peaked only at # 63 on the U.K charts. Apparently, it didn't have the impact it had on other countries. It was quite a surprise for me.

... and It´s worth saying that IWIA was one of the (if not "THE") highlight of the Q+PR repertoire.
Queen rocks!
