If it was on the radio on a bus, I suspect it was either Under Pressure or Michael Jackson. Most buses play fairly mainstream radio stations, so it wouldn't be anything unusual, probably one of the bigger hits.

I think someone's jerking our chain here. You're right, with all the "give it to me's" Freddie tossed around, it could be any song and/or all of them. LOL!

Can you give us some more details?
Was it rock? was it a ballad? guitar driven? piano?
There's also a possibility that it wasn't even Queen you've heard.. Maybe it was Mr Roboto.
