Why is Mika not being promoted in US?

I am wondering why Mika's exciting new album (I just bought it) has not been promoted more in the US? What the hell is wrong with this dumb-ass country that I live in? All I hear on the radio is elevator music.

Mika's new album is the most original thing that has come out of music in a long time. The quality of the music is much better than what Lady GaGa put out. Not that Lady GaGa's album was bad at all. Why aren't they playing Mika on the radio instead of all of this elevator music?

What the f*** has this got to do with Queen - General Discussion? Heres an idea... ask a Mika fan site.

Mika is manufactured pop shit just like Lady GaGa and co. There's no difference between Lady Gaga and Mika, only similarities.

This topic shoud'nt be on here! it should be deleted. here mika has NOTHING to do with Queen. He's not THAT good so as to be accosiated in a Queen forum!!!!!!

I strongly disagree with Mika being labeled as cookie-cutter pop.

First of all, he writes his own songs, which is more than can be said for most of what passes for music in the mainstream today.  And the writing is very good.  It's interesting and clever at times - a breath of fresh air.  I just wish he'd leave that falsetto alone and stick to his chest voice.  He's got a great voice.  I hope this guy endures.

Heard he gets dressed up in animal constumes on stage too. Anything to detract from the shite that comes out of his mouth.

I've known people that like animal costumes when not on stage.  Trust me, obscurity is too good for them.

Well I think this topic post should be regarded  as SPAM on this section. Get rid of it already! We want to hear about QUEEN not Mika!!!!!! he has nothing to do with Queen (part from I heard he likes Freddie) but that does'nt count!

But that's not my decision, so I just respond to a topic like I usually would, regardless of where it is.
