If the rose was just yellow it would be just a plain yellow rose. You obviously don't know much about roses.
To be a special rose that is named in honor of Freddie it has to have something special about it. (make sense?)
hence, the pink tinge. Otherwise, would just be a yellow rose.
Also, I can't get one here. I wish I could. For roughly $20 with part of money going to the Phoenix Trust I have no
problem paying for a nice rosebush. I would love to have a Freddie Rose bush.

I have a better idea. Freddie liked yellow roses, so make the garden plan with the best yellow rose that you can find, and forget there ever was a Freddie Mercury rose bush! As far as we in the USA or elsewhere are concerned it doesn't exist for us anyway.
