Ashame, cos it was the best I'd heard in a long while. Still, plenty of other gems from the other fantastically generous contributors.

It definitely hasn't.  I was in touch with the guy for a while, and I know he won't get sucked in by some greedy collector who wants the recording for himself.

Our friend with the tape says he simply wants to wait until he can transfer the whole thing to digital with better equipment.  He's not a collector.  He's a musician.  He realizes the value of the tape, so he wants it done right.  So we just have to be patient with him and hope for the best without pestering him.
