Boyzone's Stephen Gately died (33)

Gately's body was discovered on 10 October 2009 while on holiday in Majorca.
The cause of death has yet to be determined.

To be truthful, I never much liked Boyzone but it is still sad that he died. He was a real dark horse on the death derby.

Anyway, back to going about my normal daily business

Cause of death not yet determined ; it is suspected that he woke up and realised who he was.

not even the Spanish police are interested in him:
"not treating his death as suspicous"
so even in death he is as bland and boring as his songs..

Very  sad to hear of Stephen Gately's passing. A very  talented and dedicated performer. At  33 he'd achieved much, but it seems to me he was  still just a boy with all his dreams, all his life  ahead of him. He had such an infectious charm,
it was impossible not to like him and warm to him.  The last time I saw him he was full of enthusiasm  for the parts in Bohemian Rhapsody he was performing  in the new Boyzone show - they did a whole pageant  based on Queen songs, with ALL the boys being Freddie at various moments! Stephen was anxious that we'd  like what he was doing, which we did, and was keen to make us know he was doing it with love. He was  so full of such joy in his work that you could not fail to be caught up in it with him. My deepest  condolences to Andrew, and to Stephen's family, and - of course - to the Boys of BZ. These things are not fair.

RIP  Stephen.
