As promised here is a recording of the BBC Rock Hour radio show from 4th March 1984, containing parts of the 1975 Hammersmith show.
This has been recorded directly from the transcription vinyl by me. I am kind of new to this, but I guess that would make the lineage: AUD>Master>Vinyl>WAV>Flac Level 8. (Please correct me if I am wrong).
1 Intro
2 Now I'm Here
3 Ogre Battle
4 White Queen
5 Ad Break 1
6 Medley
7 Bring Back That Leroy Brown
8 Keep Yourself Alive
9 Ad Break 2
10 Brighton Rock
11 Son and Daughter
12 Ad Break 3
13 Liar
14 In The Lap Of the Gods...Revisted
15 Close
EDIT: I know it's some time since I shared this, but here are the cue sheets for this broadcast

Your lineage is wrong. It's not an audience recording so it should be BBC broadcast>vinyl>wav>flac.
If I'm wrong feel free to correct ;)
anyway, thanks for sharing :)

thanks for sharing this one :)
by the way, this is 16 bits / 96 KHz
you're gonna have to convert to 44 KHz for proper CD burning

Thanks for the recording Jam Monkey.
It can be very time consuming to transfer old vinyl, hope you enjoyed it as much as I do.

1) It's a transcription disc, a.k.a. an acetate, so it's a pre-FM. The ads are even still there, so it's certainly not a recording of what was put over the airwaves. And if the sound is pristine, that only favours that suggestion, as there wouldn't be any FM interference heard on the recording.
2) We don't know if the recording was processed in any way or if it was transferred to some other medium before being pressed onto vinyl.

Is it worth downloading ?
Which mix is it ?
How does it compare to the common versions ?

It's the older common mix, as expected. It sounds excellent, but it offers nothing that other versions don't already have to offer... unless you're interested in hearing ads from 1984. :-)

Indeed, that's why I said I was hoping this to be a version of Hammy '79... despite most of you would rate Hammy's audience recordings as excellent, I barely think that way, I could say very good, very good + but far from excellent IMO
I'm still waiting for a decent complete soundboard recording from Hammy 1979...

I've now included a link to download the cue sheets for this broadcast in my orignal post.
