I'll Just go on youtube and check it out.  The bands not all that original if you ask me, but checking out the amazon reviews and hearing all the queen comparisons I got curious.

I'd recommend getting Absolution first.

Although I have to admit that 'Origin of Symmetry' is perhaps better, but not particularly an easy listening album. OoS gets more appreciation in the long run, but if you're the kind of perhaps who knows how to enjoy experimental stuff, then get OoS.

I'd actually recommend Black Holes And Revelations to start off.  To me it's their most accessible yet diverse and original-sounding album.

Absolution is full of great tracks, but I feel they didn't find their stride (i.e. fully stopped trying to sound like Radiohead) until Black Holes.

I dig The Resistance.  Can't wait for a US tour. [/img]

Totally worth buying!!

But I think Absolution and Origin Of Symmetry are better.

haha, just found this after making a comment. What a superb record. Got the CD on at the moment for the first listen. Cant wait to get hold of the vinyl for a massively enhanced listening experience on my system!! That will require fine booze and plenty of smokes!!! My favourite band at the moment.... apart from the obvious.
