I have a mouse problem. He or she or they are chewing and pooping and running about inside my walls. I've never had winter mice before, and I don't know how to proceed. In the summer, I live trap and drive them to a charming field somewhere. Now, I don't have that option. I really, really don't like the idea of killing them. I know - I heard one over Christmas back at my parent's house. They make a huge amount of noise for such tiny little things. I hate to say it but they make me irrationally terrified - there's just no reasoning with myself. So I tend to get out my pan pipes and hope they follow me outside.

It's stupid, stupid cold just lately. This weekend, with the windchill, it was -37 C. Right now, it's -21 C with the windchill. Where in Canada did you visit? I would like to visit London some day.
