I want to get one of the Queen concerts on DVD, but I don't want one with a lot of cussing or other junk. Which ones would be suitable for a 5 year old to watch (I have a 5 year old niece who is a major Queen fan and will more than likely be watching the DVD with me). Also, I don't want it to freak out my mother.

Why not watch the Greatest Hits DVDs if you're worried about swearing?
But I think you're safe with Live At The Bowl.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about the swearing in a Queen show.

I was exposed to plenty of movies with profanity as a child, but a big deal was never made about it. It was just something that people in movies used - I was really a rather well spoken child.

I think if the worst you have to worry about in a new human being is a potty mouth, you're damn lucky!
I have to admit, my laissez-faire attitude towards swearing was tested a couple of years ago when two of my nephews were staying at my place for an extended period of time and their Dad wasn't about.

They both had houses on the Sims 2 where they'd recreated themselves, as well as their perfect women.

One nephew gets on the computer while the other is sleeping and has a torrid affair.

The next morning the sleepy nephew finds out that his woman is pregnant with the other guys child. He shakes his fist in anger and wails, "I can't BELIEVE THIS .... my own brother, FUCKING MY WIFE". With the utmost seriousness.

We had a chat with him after that.
How old are your nephews, Zeb? Pieter also heard my nephew say fuck last weekend. [/img] That's only been said once around us, but still. My sister and bro-in-law really need to watch their mouths.

Reminds me of a movie scene that I saw a long time ago, when I was a kid myself. I only saw this scene and if anyone could tell me the name of the movie I'd be grateful-
The kid is helping his father change a flat tyre or something. He loses the bolts his dad had asked him to handle, and starts to say "oh fu" but realises that the father is watching and ends up saying a longish "ffffuuuuutccchhh".
Wembley 86 is OK for kids to watch too, you just have to ask them to go fetch something from the kitchen during Freddie's banter when he says "they're talking from here".

Mine are 13 and 15. At the time they were more like ... 10 and 12?

I laughed anyway. I don't believe it harshly admonishing people for only doing what I did at that age ... I just explained to him not to form a habit out of loud outbursts otherwise they'd happen at the wrong time and place.
