Remember the Queen MAgic Years VHS tapes?
There were 3 in total wasn't there?
They could release them on dvd in a nice box or something - all 3 of them in a nice sleeve.
I loved these documentaries.

I found it there too but haven't downloaded cos I was not sure of the video qulaity.Surely these were ripped from VHS, unless this was released on laser disc.
So how was the video quality?
They were played on Foxtel here in Australia last month. Perhaps someone could of recorded them from there. I still have the original VHS but don't have a player for them anymore.
From my experience VHS tapes can remain in a good condition for a long time in Australia. If kept in the tropics, the tapes would have gone mouldy very fast.
From my experience VHS tapes can degrade quite rapidly in a nuclear test site. Something about the radiation not mixing well with chrome dioxide tape... but I'm no chemist!! Just a lowly cook...
I think Champions Of The World was a much better documentary than Magic Years, but would be nice to see an amalgamated version of all the documentaries put together in the future.
the version i downloaded was all 3 shrunk to fit on one dvd and its on a par with my old vhs versions, but you can download them individually, both versions are on pirate bay!!
I'd like to see a competant producer use the file footage to make a "Magic Years" type documentary. Something like the Beatles Anthology series.
I'd be willing to wait until the DoRo monkeys retire for this to happen. I'd hate to think that they'd have another crack at the Queen archive.
I'd forgot about the Champions of The World documentary.
It used to bring tears to my eyes when it got to the Freddie dying part.
Was very interesting though.
I just remember Freddie saying 'Hi, my name's Kim Bassinger' as the titles came up at the start lol...at least, i think that's what he said? Can't quite remember now.
I miss VHS.
champions of the world is also on pirate bay!!
