So, I'm watching the Star Wars parody "TROOPS" and lo, one of the stormtroopers is wearing white stiletto heels (funny in and of its self...blink and you'll miss it) and I realize that this could well be the most obscure and oblique reference to a Queen song in history!
I'm speaking, of course, about "She Makes Me (Stormtrooper In Stilettos)" of Sheer Heart Attack.
The Tom Servo cameo was pretty sweet, too!

Well, MST3K has had a few Queen references over the years. I haven't seen every episode yet, but two biggies come to mind, both of which made me laugh out loud when they happened.
In the "Manos: Hands Of Fate" episode, the villian, complete with thick black mustache, appears suddenly at the window in a close up and Crow screams: "Freddie Mercury!"
In one of the "Hercules" episodes (I think it was a Hercules episode...I may be wrong), these large rock monsters lumber towards the hero and the bots start singing, "We will, we will rock you!"

In a film from 1980, called "Flash Gordon", the leader of the Hawk Men shouts out, just before a battle:
"Who wants to live forever" !?!
Which is also the name of one of Queen's hits : )

Just watched the movie Funny People. Its a story about stand-up comedians and the character called Ira is in the middle of his act. He is making a joke about David Beckham, Tom Cruise and Will Smith performing a certain "ritual" (watch the movie). To describe this unprecedented scene, Ira says something like "strong wind is blowing, and the Queen song Flash starts playing in the background..."Flash- a-ahhh"".

Yes, I thought that was a very funny Queen reference. A reference so obscure only time-travelers from the future could get it.
