I'm about to buy a drum kit for my studio. And yes, it's going to be a Ludwig, zoners. But I have come across some cheap cymbals (which is all I need).
Has anyone heard of the Zildjian Pitch Black line of cymbals? Are they any good? They sure look pretty nifty, but I don't want my drummers coming over and making fun of me. Will they be ok with these? I don't need to spend "K" or "A" line money for these. Would I just be better off buying the standard uncoated cymbals? Again, athestically I want 'em, but not at the cost of having to buy some real ones three months later.
