Why do they take this long to destroy it? They've had since 1975...why now? Why at all?

I thought it was hilarious, and think Freddie would laugh his ass off at this one! I look at it this way, the little ones who don't know who the band Queen are, well...they just got their first lesson.

This JUST appeared on YouTube btw...was it deliberately timed as some sort of promotional thing for the greatest hits CD (or with the anniversary of Freddie's death)?

loved it!!
BEAKER!!!! :))
they must've given consent by the band and/or QP for using the original backingtrack for this.
pretty sure fred would have loved this, too!

Yeah, I thought that about the backing track.
I also thought it was great - funny stuff!
I dont think "ouch" is necessary - its a good laugh and done lovingly - better than any of the Xfactor versions of Queen tracks, haha!

oh don't get me wrong, i find it funny! I LOVE the muppets!
Just wondered why it took this long
I'm guessing it has something to do with the AG release ;D

That is at least 30 million times better than the "All You Need Is Love" that Brian just played on.

It's said to be a Thanksgiving gift to the world from The Jim Henson Company and personally I thought it was quite funny. The Ouch was just my way of saying lmao. Won't hurt sales for AG.
Here's the article
It’s almost two decades since Freddie Mercury died but Queen still keep
going. There’s another compilation CD in the shops just in time for
Christmas but boy do they know how to sell it. The surviving members of
the group popped up on The X Factor the other week to do some
middle-aged mentoring to the thrusting young singing hopefuls who duly
repaid them by covering some classic Queen hits. Then there’s this.
Said to be a Thanksgiving gift to the world from The Jim Henson
Company, it’s the Muppets, performing a sensational cover version of
Bohemian Rhapsody. It’ll go viral all over the world, everyone will be
reminded of the original, and the tills will keep on ker-ching-ing as
Queen CDs fly out of the shops.Won’t do the sale of Muppets merchandise any harm either…
While there are moments where I went "ha!" or "ha, clever!", overall, meh. I generally don't connect that well with stuff that can primarly be described as 'cute'. Muppets = brilliant. Bo Rhap=brilliant. Muppets+Bo Rhap=not so much.

It was only a matter of time. MSNBC is covering this live as I type.
My goodness, I think it's fabulous! What this world needs now is alot more Queen. (especially The Miracle, One Vision, Heaven For Everyone, Is This The World We Created? & Under Pressure)

There's a link to buy AG with the video. There's got to be a business connection here somewhere. Gack. I get tired of feeling rampantly manipulated. I'm going to listen to Tenement Funster, and just go to my happy place, and then I'm going to bed. Goodnight to the Americas. You too, Muppets for hire.
