Hi there,

I have launched a campaign on Facebook to encourage EMI/Holloywood Records to release the Muppets version of Bohemian Rhapsody as a rush release download in time for the Xmas chart.

According to the many thousands of comments, its something that is in demand and I need Queen fans everywhere to help get behind this by joining the facebook group especially set up . You can help in other ways too, for example, contacting Queens Management company, Radio (National and Local) along with TV stations and of course, The Mainstream media and online news networks.

It really can be achieved if we get enough support! If you have any ideas suggestions then please get in touch with me on markbiddiss@yahoo.co.uk or via Facebook.

Below is the facebook group name.
Please log-in and head to 'groups' and type in name below!
Official Facebook campaign:Muppets Bohemian Rhapsody for Christmas number 1

Many thanks and hope to hear from you all soon

What would be the point?  Myself I'd only enjoy it with the video, and I can already watch that for free.

Oh c'mon Mr Beach... couldn't you come up with something a little more creative to earn some extra bucks?

It seems bizarre that upon the many thousands who have pledged support for this that here , it has been met so cynically judging by some of the comments! Its only a bit of fun at Christmas and I hope, like many thousands are doing, that it will be rush-released  to put a bit of joy and a spark back into the Christmas charts instead of the usual dreary XFactor ballads which predictably clog up the top! Hopefully, it will be different if EMI etc get a move on and do what many are demanding!

As you said it, "it's a bit of fun at christmas"... exactly. it was a bit of fun. It's the same of bit of fun as the one you get by watching a you tube video... you watch it, you have a good laugh, then go on with your life. If you liked it that much, you can bookmark it and watch it again. It's just tongue in cheek, not a musical gem to keep it for posterity.

I know how rewarding it is to feel enthusiastic and passionate about something, and I do respect your efforts to organize others who feel the same way you do into an effective movement. However, that respect does not seem mutual.  In what way is it bizarre that there are some people who are not you who for varying reasons and in varying ways see this in a different light? In this instance I find no effective difference in the techniques of the Walt Disney Company and Simon Cowell et al. It's all clog.

I will second that. Slade are the perfect anti-dote to a boring day.

Now where is that Slade In Flame DVD again............

Well, some of you guys hit the nail on the head there!

The whole idea really does cast back to the good ole Christmas chart days of Slade etc. A bit of fun in the charts is something that has been awol for a long time now and I think many are looking for this to happen again!

Well, lets hope it happens !
