is not from rockband game stems, in fact volcal tracks is different (freddie sang "REPEAT" and no "REP" in this version there is maracas.

Being very late to this party, I've been playing with the WATC tracks, trying to make my own mix, and just realised that "of the world" at 2:20 before the last chorus, isn't on any track at that point. It must be a shortened version of the one from the end of the first chorus that was dropped in (during the mixing??), or it's not on the multitrack at all.

Nice spot. I've just been through it using CEP and it's definitely not buried anywhere.
With everything - save for the six vocal tracks muted, there are clearly no vocals where "of the world" appears on the final mix.
I'm thinking that that you're correct in saying it was "dropped in" during final mixing, as you can clearly hear Freddie draw breath between the end of the chorus and start of the repeat.
How easy would it have been to remove the very audible breath taken? I'm wondering if the "of the world" paste-in during final mixing was just a tidier solution to hide the breath taken.

Well spotted.
Track 21 @ 4:25 - after making a mistake, May clears his head and comes up with part of what would be the final guitar statement of the song. No doubt he went back to this take and refined the part.
Proof that mistakes are a good thing. The magic happens when you're out of your comfort zone and out of your head.

The reason the "Of The World" part isn't on this multitrack seems to be because whoever compiled the tracks forgot to include it. Tracks 1 and 24 are duplicates so obviously the missing track will have that line on it. I don't think it was dropped in during mixing since the rock band stems have the line in the right spot.
