I don't mean to be rude but I think we should respect other people's style of working when it is at no cost to us.

And in any case, just ignoring whoever it is doesnt work as they will still keep on posting.

Well, it is slightly annoying. 
But it's more about whether you are interested in the theme or not. 
If you find it interesting post a reply, if no- ignore it and let it go down.

Why is it annoying? she only posts once on each subject and it's the official line as-it-were, not a fan guessing or simply spamming the board

In terms of annoying I would say a good 60% of Queenzone is way higher on the scale!

I think updates should be bundled into one thread.  Most of them are too pointless to even count as news.

As I said, I find it slightly annoying (or simply not interesting)- so I don't respond. If it's interesting I do, BTW.

Of course there is a news section of the site, but I don't think everyone notices it and since there are a lot of people who use the forum they'll probably use it for news. I just cannot see a reason to complain about someone posting the news to the forums, couldn't there be anything ELSE to complain about?

Really, some fans will complain about anything, and it's mostly pointless and ridiculous things to complain about. How is posting NEWS spamming or being a nuisance? It's a relatively simple tip... don't click the topic!

It's not Jacky, but some kind of automated bot that Richard set up. He said so himself.

So ignore it, respond to it, take the piss out of it. It won't make the slightest bit of difference. I think Richard accepted it was slightly 'annoying' and in need of tweaking, but other than that, if he wants it, it stays.

There's a cost to the quality of the discussions, because the Ghost topics are usually repeats of conversations already happening on another thread.  Thoughts get split and scatttered.

If you people always want to nit-pick about every little thing, create your own web site or don't come here. geez....
