I bought the song in part to send a message that new music from Rog is still desired and still appreciated, but I do like it as well. The lyrics are a little trite, but the music is pleasant and I have always really loved his voice. The orchestral section in the middle is too long, the whole thing is a bit of a pastiche of approaches, the harder 'High Street full of holes' section could have been reprised, and Lord knows I don't understand the closed bathroom signs in the video. But overall it's a good track made with passion by an experienced musician with a great rock and roll voice who happens to be part of a band that inspires me more and makes me happier than any other. Count me in.
