Roberto Sanchez better known as SANDRO or "The Argentinian Elvis" was a singer, composer, producer, film director and also an actor who sadly died at the age of 64 in Buenos Aires. He released 52 albums between 1960 up to the begining of this century ,he sold 8 milllion copies(some sources said 22 million) also took part in 16 movies. He was the first latinamerican person who sang at the Madison Square Garden in NY and one of the first who sang rock and roll in spanish in Latin America in the 60´s(he used to sing Elvis or the Beatles songs though he later wrote romantic songs).Very simple person, great showman,an icon in many countries from Argentina to Mexico,Spain and the latin community in USA,will be greatly missed,REST IN PEACE GITANO

RIP brow!
RIP Señor Elvis.
So would that "Elvis Of Argentina" be the young 50's-60's era Elvis or the bloated 70's pill-poppin' sweaty version? If it's the latter, I miss him already.

Capo Sandro de América. Por lo menos viste a Banfield campeón.
I don't know much about Sandro except that my parents really like his music.
I guess he was a big icon to that generation.
