Bicycle Race Acetate?

Saw this on ebay today...

I've never heard of a Bicycle Race acetate, there is no mention on sites like Andy's Queen Page or Queen Museum. What I thought was odd was that it was Japenese. I though acetates were pressed in the studio, but Queen never recorded in Japan.

I wonder if it plays the standard album version, because alot of acetates seem to be different. Anyone know anything about this item?

Probably a Japanese test pressing of the normal single release.

i can go to a small pressing plant that produces dubplates (acetates) for djs
and order an acetate of any song i like for less than 20€, underhand of course.
on the other hand it can be real. who knows.
what makes me wonder: have there ever been queen-acetates post 1974?

An acetate with a wide turntablehole?? Very unlikely.

Indeed there is. It's true that most acetates are from that time, but check out http://www.queenmuseum.com/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=36. There is even an acetate of Breakthru
